Laser Cutting Process FAQ

Q1: Laser cutting, the laser does not emit light

  1. Check whether the laser enable, the laser, and the water cooler are on 2. Check whether the laser is powered on

Q2: During laser cutting calibration, upper and lower soft limit overrun is reported

  1. Jog the U axis up and down on the PC interface and perform capacitance calibration again

Q3: Laser cutting suddenly cannot cut through, with spark emission

  1. Check whether the lens is dirty; if dirty, the lens needs to be replaced

Q4: Laser cutting edge search failed

  1. Check whether the maximum moving distance in the edge search settings is sufficient to reach the edge of the plate

Q5: Laser cutting end point-around is inaccurate

  1. Select the no-tool-hand state and perform 7-point calibration to recalibrate the tool hand 2. Use the calibration nozzle and calibration ball for RTCP calibration; during calibration, first perform capacitance calibration on the calibration ball, using the U axis follow jog to keep the distance from the end to the ball surface at 20mm

Q6: Laser cutting reports gas pressure too high

  1. Check whether the gas required for cutting is correct 2. Perform air pressure calibration and air pressure detection

Q7: When running the laser cutting program, the laser head hits the plate

  1. Perform capacitance calibration 2. Check whether the Z value of the user coordinate system is correct

Q8: Laser cutting reports position unreachable

  1. Check whether the zero point and origin position are correct 2. Check whether the limit is exceeded
